A shade printed in one piece in clear polymer: light passes through the layers and draws the path of the bead onto the ceiling.

Calipso comes from a single continuous bead, laid down layer by layer without moulds. Every wave in the wall is calculated so the light never hits the eye directly: it spreads through the thickness of the material and comes back out softened.

Being clear, it shows what is usually hidden, namely the way the piece was built. Lit, it becomes an object of light; unlit, an object of matter.

Every piece carries small differences: they are the mark of printing, not a flaw.
